About Siem Reap
Siem Reap is the cultural heart of Cambodia and the gateway to the legendary Angkor temples — a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most remarkable archaeological landscapes in the world.
- Angkor Wat — the world's largest religious monument
- Angkor Thom & Bayon — iconic stone faces and royal city ruins
- Ta Prohm — where jungle and architecture intertwine
Beyond the temples, Siem Reap offers natural sights, traditional villages, markets, artisan communities, and a range of dining and evening options. The destination is well geared for groups, with many hotels and event venues and experienced local teams.

Flight Recommendations
We recommend routing that minimises connections and transit complexity. General guidance by region:
- China: fly via direct gateways such as Kunming, Guangzhou (Shanghai subject to schedule). Alternatives via Bangkok or Vietnam if direct routes are unavailable.
- Europe: best via Bangkok (one connection). Premium option via Singapore. Alternatives via Ho Chi Minh City / Hanoi are possible but may add immigration complexity.
- Americas: route via a major Asia hub then Bangkok (or via Tokyo/Seoul + Bangkok). Singapore is a premium option.
Travel notes:
- Allow at least 2.5–3 hours for international transit connections.
- Avoid tight connections (<2 hours).
- Recommended arrival window into Siem Reap: 10:00–18:00 where possible.
