Camera-Ready Information
Please follow the instructions below for camera-ready submission, registration, and presentation of your paper.
Deadline
The final camera-ready version of your paper must be uploaded no later than 1 November 2026. This is a hard deadline. Accepted submissions that miss this deadline will be removed from the proceedings, as missing camera-ready papers would delay the entire publication process.
Required Materials
For each accepted paper, the camera-ready submission must include:
- The final PDF of the paper (see formatting instructions below);
- The complete source files required to produce the final paper; and
- The completed Springer Licence-to-Publish form.
A completed Springer Licence-to-Publish form must be submitted with the camera-ready paper. The form should be completed and signed by the corresponding author on behalf of all authors of the paper. The paper title and author names on the form must correspond exactly to those in the final camera-ready paper. Please complete all required fields and provide the appropriate signature and date.
Download the Licence-to-Publish Form (Word)
The completed form should be uploaded together with the camera-ready PDF and source files. Only one Licence-to-Publish form per paper is required.
Preparation and Formatting
All camera-ready papers must be prepared using the official Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) proceedings format. Authors should use the Springer LNCS LaTeX or Word template and should not modify the prescribed margins, fonts, spacing or other layout parameters.
When preparing your final paper, please pay particular attention to the following:
- Author information — The camera-ready version is no longer anonymous. Include the complete and correct names of all authors, their affiliations, and the appropriate contact information. Clearly identify the corresponding author. Ensure that this author information corresponds exactly with the Licence-to-Publish form. Any discrepancies will delay publication of your paper.
- Title and author list — Carefully check the title, author names, ordering and affiliations before submission. These should be considered final at the camera-ready stage.
- Reviewer comments — Take account of the reviewers’ comments when preparing the final version and make appropriate corrections and improvements.
- Page limits — The camera-ready paper must comply with the page limit for its category:
- Full and special session papers: 12 pages + up to 2 pages for references
- Demo and VBS papers: 6 pages + up to 2 pages for references
- Page numbers and running headers — Do not add page numbers or running headers. These will be added by Springer LNCS during production.
- Figures — All figures must be clear and legible at their final publication size. Use vector graphics for diagrams and schematics wherever possible. Text and labels within figures must remain clearly readable; Springer specifies that lettering in figures should not be smaller than 6 pt.
- Tables and equations — Tables and equations should remain editable and should not be inserted into the paper as images.
- Colour — Do not convey information by colour alone; figures must remain understandable when reproduced or viewed without reliance on colour.
- References — Check that all references are complete and correctly formatted according to the Springer LNCS style. All cited references should appear in the reference list, and all entries in the reference list should be appropriately cited in the paper.
- Acknowledgements and funding — Include the final acknowledgements and relevant funding information in the camera-ready version.
- LaTeX source — For LaTeX submissions, provide the complete source required to compile the paper, including the
.texfile, all figures and any other required files. Also include the final.bblbibliography file. - Compilation — Before uploading, verify that the supplied source compiles successfully and produces the submitted final PDF. Avoid custom fonts, unnecessary non-standard packages and machine-specific file paths.
- Final PDF — Carefully inspect the final PDF before submission, paying particular attention to equations, figures, tables, special characters, references, author names and affiliations.
Authors are strongly encouraged to consult the official Springer instructions and templates for Computer Science proceedings when preparing their camera-ready submission:
- Instructions for Authors (PDF)
- Licence-to-Publish Form (Word)
- Springer LNCS proceedings guidelines (LaTeX/Word templates)
How to Upload
Please upload only the final version of the paper, the source files necessary to produce it, and the copyright form. The upload option is available to the corresponding/submitting author for each accepted paper in ConfTool. You should upload three separate files:
- Camera-Ready PDF — the final Springer LNCS-formatted PDF of your paper.
- Source Files — a ZIP archive containing all files required to generate the final paper. For LaTeX submissions, include all
.tex, figure, bibliography and.bblfiles. For Word submissions, include the final Word source and associated figure files. - Licence-to-Publish PDF — the completed and signed Springer Licence-to-Publish form as a PDF. One form is required per paper.
Registration Requirement
Every accepted paper must be associated with one full-price registration for inclusion in the MMM 2027 proceedings. One full-price registration is therefore required for each accepted paper. The only exception is for VBS papers, which can be registered at the VBS-only rate.
The registration system will open on or before Monday 26 October and is accessible from the Registration page. Please provide your paper IDs when registering. The early-bird registration deadline is 3 November, so please ensure that registrations are complete by this date.
In-Person and Online Participation
MMM 2027 will support both in-person and online participation. There is no difference in publication status depending on whether an author presents the paper in person or online — in both cases, papers will be included in the proceedings.
During registration, please indicate whether the presenting author for each paper intends to participate in person or online. Accurate information is important for scheduling oral sessions and the online forum.
Further details are available on the In-Person and Online Participation page.
